Session Details
Moments to Treasure specializes in baby, children and family portraiture. Session types include:
- Precious Moments (Newborn)
- Moments to Treasure (Mother & Child)
- Expectant Moments (Maternity)
- Moments of Wonder (Infants)
- Moments of Discovery (Children)
- Moments in Time (Seniors)
- Family Moments
Each session lasts from 1-2 hours, depending on the nature of the portraits being taken. My goal is to work with the child as much as possible to establish a relationship, so that I can provide you with the best possible images to choose from. Additional time is allotted for newborn portraits, given the baby's schedule.
Most family, child and senior portrait sessions are taken on location, while maternity, newborn and baby sessions generally take place in our home studio. Newborn portraits can also be taken at the client's home to provide the most comfortable environment possible. We can discuss the best situation for you during our phone consultation. I prefer to use natural light whenever possible, as it creates the softest and most natural images.

During our initial phone consultation, we will discuss your goals for the session, as well as location, wardrobe, timing, etc. If necessary, I can meet with a new child in advance, so that they are more comfortable with me the day of our session.
After our session, we will meet at my location to view your proofs in a slide show format. Proofs will be presented in color, black and white and/or sepia, at the artist's discretion, unless otherwise requested at our initial consultation. Custom finishes may also be included in your proofs on select images. At the proof viewing, I will be able to consult with you on the custom print finishes available, framing options, etc., to help you maximize your enjoyment of your portraits. Many clients also ask for my help making decisions, and I am happy to oblige!
After the proof viewing, your favorite images will be available for viewing on-line for a period of 60 days. This is especially helpful for out-of-town relatives who may want to view and/or order prints as well. To view the images, check for a named link under our "Client Sessions" page. As the end of the 60 day viewing period draws near, clients may request an extended viewing time if necessary. (Once the gallery has been removed, a $20.00 fee will be applied to re-load the gallery.)
All proof images will have minor re-touching and be shown "full frame." Please keep in mind that minor cropping will occur for final prints in many standard sizes. I will discuss this with you further during our proof viewing appointment. Every effort will be made to preserve the integrity of the original image.

Prices are subject to change without notice. The price list provided to you at the time of your booking or proof viewing consultation will be guaranteed for 60 days from the date of your proof viewing consultation.
