Lauren is an incoming senior at San Antonio Christian School, and this girl is just JOY. Her radiant smile erupts into a fantastic laugh, and we had a blast shooting her rep images! Lauren is smart, funny, athletic, and has an incredible sense of humor. Stories about goofy pranks she pulls on friends and crazy dances (yes, I got to see) are just part of her awesomeness. I am so thrilled to have her as part of my 2018 Senior Rep Team!

She started the day being pampered at Jax Studio with the amazing Jax on makeup and Olivia on hair. These ladies totally took the vision I described for the shoot, ran with it, and rocked it!! Having your hair and makeup done for your senior session is so much fun, and each of my senior reps this year has loved it!! They looked and felt like models!

Lauren and I talked about a fun, boho vibe for this session, but gave it a fun twist by playing in MY NEW STUDIO SPACE! It was a blast and she nailed it! The studio has such a great look and it worked perfectly for this session. We used the whole building, from staircases to hallways to the studio space itself. The studio has gorgeous light, exposed brick, and yummy distressed wood floors. It’s a great option for head shots and senior portraits. (Rain? No problem!) I love the way Lauren’s personality and expressions - from soft to sweet to silly - shine through in her images!

We are already booking for summer sessions for the Class of 2018 - call today and let’s plan how we’ll tell your story!!

You. Are. Beautiful.

“We really need to update our photos, but I need to lose twenty pounds first.” “I am not photogenic.” “I hate the way I look in pictures.” “I think we are just gonna shoot photos of the kids this year.”

I hear these things from my clients all the time. It breaks my heart for so many reasons. We are all, especially women, way too hard on ourselves and we need to STOP. The person you see in the mirror is not the same person your loved ones see when they look at you. They see a beautiful, vibrant, amazing human being who they love madly, flaws and all.

What I want for you to see when you look at your images is the incredible beauty of your spirit and heart that shines through your eyes. The way your laugh lights up your face. The love shared between you and your loved ones.

Exist in photos. It is a gift to those that love you. It just may also be an unexpected gift to you.
